Korah Coasters – Handwoven Set of 4 from Ethiopia

The Korah Coasters are a set of four handwoven coasters, made from natural grass by the talented female artisans of our partner Hope for Korah in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Within the Independent Basket Weavers’ Cooperative, women are given the opportunity to develop their skills and proudly contribute to fair and sustainable products.

Each coaster is entirely handwoven using traditional techniques. This results in a sturdy, durable product with a natural and timeless look. Because every piece is handmade, each set is unique, and small variations in colour and texture are part of its character.

In addition to their functional and aesthetic value, the Korah Coasters have a strong social impact. The work within the cooperative provides the artisans with a stable income and contributes to improved living conditions and economic independence.
