Our partners
Fair products start with fair production partners. That’s why we only work with partners who share our values and contribute to a better world through their craftsmanship and mission.
At Noble Roots, we believe in collaborations that truly make a difference. Every partnership is rooted in shared values: honesty, sustainability, and craftsmanship that empowers people and communities.
Sabegn
At Noble Roots, we believe in fair products that change lives. That is why we work with Sabegn, an Ethiopian brand that has been creating high quality leather goods and offering hope since 2011. What began as the dream of two sisters to make a difference in one person's life has grown into an inspiring success story.
Sabegn invests in sustainable employment for women, paying more than three times the local industry average. For context, only 2 percent of workers in the global fashion industry earn a living wage. In addition, Sabegn employees receive pension contributions, paid leave, and maternity leave. Benefits that are far from standard in Ethiopia.
Sabegn stands for quality, both in their products and in the lives of their team. Every detail matters. Sustainability is also a priority. One batch of their bags reuses more than 6,000 kilograms of surplus leather, giving waste a second life.
Together with Sabegn, we are building a fairer supply chain. One bag at a time.
Sabahar
A pioneer in fair trade textiles, Sabahar has been championing sustainable craftsmanship in Ethiopia for nearly 20 years.
As a woman-owned business, Sabahar employs nearly 100 artisans, collaborates with 75 home-based weavers, and supports hundreds of spinners and silk producers. Its environmentally responsible practices — including solar energy, biogas fuel, and water recycling — earned it zero carbon emission status from OEKO-TEX in 2020.
At Noble Roots, we are proud to stand beside Sabahar. A brand where beauty, equity and sustainability are woven toegether.
Hope for Korah
Our partnership with Hope for Korah (HFK) supports a holistic approach to breaking the cycle of poverty in the Korah community of Addis Ababa.
Through HFK’s Independent Basket Weavers’ Cooperative, talented artisans — primarily single mothers — receive training and ongoing support to create beautifully handcrafted baskets.
This collaboration represents the heart of Noble Roots: empowering people, preserving skill, and creating lasting change through craftsmanship.
